Custom Lithium Golf Cart Batteries, 72V, 76V 100Ah 150Ah 200Ah Lithium Battery Pack
If you’re a project manager or a buyer in the golf cart world, you know the industry is moving fast. The old 48V systems are fine, but 72V is where the real performance lives. At Bonnen Battery, we specialize in manufacturing high-voltage lithium solutions that don’t just “fit”—they perform.
Our 72V series (available in 100Ah, 150Ah, and 200Ah) is built with Grade A LiFePO4 cells. Compared to lead-acid, these packs are “drop-in” ready but act like a turbocharge for your motor. You get more torque, higher top speeds, and zero “voltage sag” when climbing hills.

Lower TCO (Total Cost of Ownership): You’ll buy 3-4 sets of lead-acid batteries in the time it takes to wear out one Bonnen pack.
Scalable Customization: Need a weird shape or a specific 150Ah capacity? We’re a factory, not just a middleman. We build it to your CAD specs.
Consistent Power: Lithium stays at a high voltage until it’s almost empty. No more slowing down when the battery is at 30%.
Direct Factory Support: You deal directly with our engineers in China. No “lost in translation” through 50 distributors.
Branding Opportunities: We can OEM/White-label the batteries with your company logo for your own product line.
Simplified Logistics: One lithium pack replaces 6 or 8 heavy lead-acid batteries. Easier to swap, easier to stock.
Eco-Friendly: No lead, no acid, no fumes. It’s the “green” choice that actually makes financial sense.
Warranty Peace of Mind: We provide comprehensive warranties because we know our Grade A cells are built to last.

Q1: Can I use my old lead-acid charger for a 72V lithium battery?
Honestly, no. Lithium needs a specific charging profile (CC/CV). Using a lead-acid charger will damage the cells and void the warranty. We provide the matching charger with every order.
Q2: How much range will I get with a 72V 100Ah vs. 150Ah?
Think of Ah (Amp-hours) like the size of your gas tank. A 100Ah pack usually gets you 40–50 miles. A 150Ah pack pushes that to 60–75 miles, depending on the terrain and load.
Q3: Is a 72V lithium battery safe in high heat?
Totally. Our LiFePO4 chemistry is the safest lithium tech available. It doesn’t catch fire like the stuff in some old laptops (NCM). Plus, our BMS shuts it down if it gets too hot.
Q4: Do you offer custom sizes for E-Z-GO or Club Car?
Yes! That’s our bread and butter. We can customize the metal case dimensions to fit your specific battery bay so you don’t have to cut your cart’s frame.
Q5: What’s the “C-rating” for your 72V packs?
We usually design for 1C continuous discharge and up to 3C for short bursts (accelerating). If your motor is a beast, let us know, and we’ll beef up the BMS.
Q6: How long does shipping take from China?
Usually, 30–45 days via sea freight. If you’re in a rush, we can do air, but for heavy batteries, sea is much cheaper.
Q7: Can I parallel two 72V 100Ah batteries?
You can, but it’s usually better (and cheaper) to just have us build you one 72V 200Ah pack from the start.
Q8: What is the best 72V battery for high-speed golf carts?
For speed, you want a high-discharge 72V 100Ah or 150Ah pack. Lithium’s light weight alone usually adds 3–5 mph to your top speed.
Q9: Do these batteries work in cold weather?
LiFePO4 can be used down to -20°C, but you shouldn’t charge them below 0°C. If you’re in a cold climate, we can add an internal heater.
Q10: Why choose 72V over 48V?
72V is about efficiency. High voltage means lower current (Amps) for the same power, which means less heat and more torque. It’s better for hills and heavy loads.
Q11: Are Bonnen batteries certified?
Yep. We carry CE, UN38.3, and MSDS. We can provide all the docs your customs broker will ask for.
Q12: How do I calculate the ROI on switching to lithium?
Calculate: (Cost of Lead-Acid x 3) + (Maintenance Hours x 10 years). Usually, Lithium pays for itself by year 3.
Q13: Can I monitor the battery from my phone?
Yes, most of our custom builds come with a Bluetooth BMS. You can see your exact percentage and “health” on our app.
Q14: What’s the lead time for a custom project?
Typically 3–4 weeks for design and production once we confirm the specs.
Q15: Does Bonnen offer bulk discounts for fleet buyers?
For sure. We’re a factory. The more you buy, the better the price per unit.
